I wanted to focus on a fantasy being that I haven't written about yet, so I chose a dryad. They are female nature spirits that inhabit trees. Instead of focusing on the negative aspects of their situation (ie, they can't leave their forest), I wanted the dryad to find the blessings in what she has, and what she gained along the way. Hope you enjoy!
