"In this new interview, Colonel Douglas Macgregor warns that a renewed confrontation with Iran could devastate the Persian Gulf, including oil infrastructure and desalination plants on the western side of the Gulf. He argues that Saudi Arabia could not withstand such attacks and that the East-West pipeline across the kingdom would be vulnerable to disruption, threatening a region responsible for a major share of global energy flows. Macgregor also examines the escalating drone campaign against Russia, claiming that roughly 800 long-range drones reached targets around Moscow and Volgograd. He points to a 38% reduction in Russian refining capability and the suspension of refined fuel exports, while warning that repeated strikes could eventually push Moscow toward a much more forceful response against Ukraine and potentially the Western states supporting it."
