"Dollar General Overcharging:
20 Out Of 50 Items Priced Wrong In One Store"
"One of the stores on literally every corner just got sued - and Dollar General may owe you money. The FTC and 20 states filed suit against Dollar General, accusing the retailer of charging customers more at the register than the prices advertised on shelves, price tags, and ads for years - extracting millions in unlawful charges. And this isn't the first time: Dollar General already paid back roughly $6 million in overcharges not long ago. Now it's happening again. I break down what the lawsuit actually alleges, the shopper examples out of Massachusetts, Wisconsin, and Kentucky - including one store where 20 out of 50 products were priced incorrectly - Dollar General's official response, and why the people hit hardest are the ones budgeting every single dollar. Then I get into the bigger pattern: Walmart, Kroger, Aldi, and convenience stores, and the car dealership that repriced a vehicle the moment a buyer showed up. I also tell you what happened to me this summer - a big "$25" sign on box fans, and a $35 charge at the register."
