Dust & Strings, "Rust on the Pocket Watch"

"Nobody ever bought another hour of light. Let the gears stay dead... everything is right. An old silver pocket watch, given in 1945. The hands don't turn no more, the ticking stopped in the morning fog, and an old bluesman sits still on the front porch watching the river flow. A slow-burning, acoustic Mississippi Delta Blues ballad about letting go of the rush, accepting the passing of time, and finding peace in the quiet countryside. Weathered storytelling vocals, intimate fingerpicked acoustic guitar, weeping resonator slide tones, and dusty front porch atmosphere."
