"People Can't Afford Soup Anymore"
"Things are so tight right now. People can't afford soup. People are cutting back on everything - and now even Campbell Soup is feeling the pain. Campbell Soup has been downgraded after disappointing earnings, with sales and key parts of the business struggling. The company says the consumer may not be strong enough to get through another difficult year. If people are cutting back on basic food like soup, what does that tell us about the economy? In this video, we look at Campbell Soup, consumer spending, rising prices, diesel fuel, inflation, higher costs, automobile recalls, Ford, the stock market, interest rates, gold and silver, and the growing financial pressure facing American families. The economy is becoming harder to navigate, and many people are asking the same question: “Am I the only one struggling?” The answer is no. Consumers are cutting back, businesses are warning about weaker demand, and these financial challenges are affecting millions of Americans."
