"Landlords Are Raising Rent Everywhere!
And Tenants Can't Afford To Stay"
"Landlords are raising rent everywhere, and tenants simply can't afford to stay anymore. In this video, Americans show it from their side: a luxury apartment that went from $2,100 to $2,700 a month plus $125 parking, then listed the same unit for $1,950 to new tenants, a West Palm Beach renewal from $4,190 to $4,732, a Dallas renewal letter jumping from $1,800 to $2,200, a San Francisco three-bed raised 38% to $8,000 and then relisted 55% higher, a $5,200 Mission Street lease relisted at $8,200 after one year, $3,800 a month for a one-bedroom in Woodland Hills, New York City renewals that went up nearly $1,000, a one-bedroom that cost $575 in 2003 and $1,400 now, a $900 one-bedroom from 2019 that is now $1,700, a $350 college room in a city where rent has gone up two and a half times, Georgia landlords adding $200 to $300 every year, a $300 apartment from the 90s that now rents for $1,000, a Nashville renewal to $2,806, and a $236 rent hike after a few wood floors went in."
