"Something is seriously wrong at McDonald's, and Americans are starting to notice. This summer, the biggest restaurant company on the planet told Wall Street that its American sales grew by eight-tenths of one percent. That's not eight percent, and it's not even one percent. And even that tiny number only exists because the people who still pull up to the window are paying more, while fewer people pull up at all. In the very same quarter, Burger King's American sales jumped eight and a half percent. Stay with me, because the reason is bigger than a burger."
