"People Breaking Down After The System Failed Them"

"Burnout is quietly reshaping how Americans live and more people are starting to notice. The cost of living keeps climbing, wages aren't keeping up, and everyday life feels heavier than it used to. Groceries, rent, utilities, healthcare it's all adding up in ways that don't make sense anymore. And while the headlines say one thing, the reality on the ground tells a different story. In this video, we're taking an honest look at what's actually happening. Why so many people are exhausted. Why working harder isn't leading to stability like it used to. Why the old playbook go to school, get a job, buy a house, retire feels more like fiction than a plan for a lot of folks right now.

This isn't about pointing fingers or picking sides. It's about acknowledging what millions of Americans are already feeling. The squeeze is real. The stress is real. And pretending everything is fine isn't helping anyone. If you've been feeling like something is off like no matter what you do, you can't quite get ahead you're not alone. A lot of people are waking up to the same thing. And maybe that's where real conversations have to start.

I'd love to hear from you. What's been the hardest thing for you lately? Is it food costs? Housing? Healthcare? Something else entirely? Share your thoughts down below your experience might help someone else realize they're not the only one going through it. And if you've found ways to make things work deals, tips, changes that have helped please share those too. We're all figuring this out together."

  1. I see it and feel the fatigue too. I sometimes feel ashamed to gripe or complain about anything when I know I have been blessed beyond measure in so many ways, but I also get frustrated when I look around and see where we as a country have fallen socially, morally, economically, etc. and knowing "it doesn't have to be this way". I suppose it is natural, but I sometimes compare my life to my parents, my younger life as child/teenager growing up to my grandchildren, and my latter years to my grandparents and I see a darker/dingier environment in many different ways from what I was raised locally and as an American.
The gas prices are helping some locally, but still hurts in the pocketbook as do the grocery prices which are ridiculous IMHO. Sadly, in nearby towns, gasoline is nearly .40 per gallon cheaper than in the rural areas like where I live. When a person has to travel for most anything (work, school, shopping, health care, etc.), it makes everything else "more expensive". At the grocery store, I simply refuse to pay today's prices for beef. Something is terribly wrong when cattle are bringing $1.50 per pound on the hoof and $10-30 per for steaks. About the only beef we buy are roasts, if on sale, and ground beef. Eggs were .79 a dozen I noticed this week at the local grocery store in their weekly flyer. That is huge improvement from the price manipulating days of Biden Regime. My family doesn't have any magic tricks for coping, we try to use common sense buying "sale" items, making trips count, watching for discounts/sales, pay cash, we don't eat at restaurants etc. We are retired and our 1990 savings do not go far in this 2025/26 economy. We will make it, but it is tough on the younger folks. I'd hate to be starting out in life (marrying, buying a home, raising kids, etc.) these days. It is like my grandmother told about ten years ago (b.1920), "people today have it easier than they ever have, but they are more screwed up than ever". I cringe when I think of what my kids and grandkids might face in the coming years and then I grin when I think, they might be the ones who help right the wrongs and fix the problems.
