"Is America becoming a third world country? It's a question that more and more people are asking and after watching these stories, it's hard not to see why. The cost of living has spiraled out of control. Rent prices have doubled. Health insurance costs have skyrocketed. Groceries are so expensive that people are counting pennies at the register just to buy bananas. And millions of Americans are working multiple jobs, doing everything right, and still can't get ahead.
In this video, we're hearing from real people who are living through this crisis every single day. Young adults with degrees who can't afford to move out. Families choosing between food and medicine. Workers who are exhausted, burned out, and wondering what the point of it all is.
We were raised to believe that America was the land of opportunity. That hard work would pay off. That the system would take care of us. But for so many people, that belief has shattered. The goalposts keep moving. The gap keeps widening. And the future feels more uncertain than ever. This video isn't about doom and gloom. It's about being honest. It's about saying out loud what so many of us have been feeling in silence. Because the first step to changing anything is acknowledging where we really are.
