"CVS Pharmacies Are Leaving Sick
Americans Without Their Medicine"
"CVS pharmacies are falling behind on the one job people count on them for: getting sick Americans their medicine on time. In this video, CVS customers and pharmacy workers show it from their side: a twenty-person line at the pharmacy counter, a prescription nobody called about, a card stuck in a machine for a week, an insurance billing ordeal, a prior authorization that never cleared, Caremark mail-order prescription mix-ups, and a pharmacist describing what chronic understaffing does to the people waiting in line. We look at why the pharmacy counter keeps breaking down, what it costs patients who need their refills on time, and how to keep a household's medicine supply from hanging on a single pharmacy counter."
