"Ever wondered why life gets harder just when you’re trying to change? What if the struggles, losses, and moments of doubt aren’t setbacks - but tests? In this powerful video, we explore Carl Jung’s insights into transformation and how the universe (and your own psyche) challenges you before allowing your external reality to shift. These tests aren’t random - they’re sacred thresholds."

"A Look to the Heavens"

“This colorful skyscape features the dusty, reddish glow of Sharpless catalog emission region Sh2-155, the Cave Nebula. About 2,400 light-years away, the scene lies along the plane of our Milky Way Galaxy toward the royal northern constellation of Cepheus.

Astronomical explorations of the region reveal that it has formed at the boundary of the massive Cepheus B molecular cloud and the hot, young, blue stars of the Cepheus OB 3 association. The bright rim of ionized hydrogen gas is energized by the radiation from the hot stars, dominated by the bright blue O-type star above picture center. Radiation driven ionization fronts are likely triggering collapsing cores and new star formation within. Appropriately sized for a stellar nursery, the cosmic cave is over 10 light-years across.”

"Dog 'Cries' At Grave: 'Wiley Crying Over Grandma'"
by The Huffington Post

"Brace yourselves, because this video is probably going to make you cry. In this viral video, a service dog named Wiley appears to cry at the grave of his handler's grandmother. The short clip shows Wiley makes crying noises at the grave of Gladys, described by the LARC website as "a family member, and a supporter" of the animal rescue center. "She will be forever missed, especially by Wiley," the site reads. "I can tell you that he has never done that before and hasn't done it since. I may be anthropomorphosizing his actions but its how I'm choosing to deal with loss," sarahvarley13 wrote in the description of the video on YouTube. According to sarahvarley13, Wiley is a "service wolf" that helps veterans returning from war, providing therapy and care through LARC and a program called Warriors and Wolves. A spokesperson for LARC was not immediately available to comment on Gladys' relationship with Wiley.”

"Courage..."

“I was as afraid as the next man in my time and maybe more so. But with the years, fear had come to be regarded as a form of stupidity to be classed with overdrafts, acquiring a venereal disease or eating candies. Fear is a child's vice and while I loved to feel it approach, as one does with any vice, it was not for grown men and the only thing to be afraid of was the presence of true and imminent danger in a form that you should be aware of and not be a fool if you were responsible for others.”
- Ernest Hemingway, "True at First Light”

"Internet Sacred Text Archive"

"About Sacred Texts"

"All ancient books which have once been called sacred by man, will have their lasting place in the history of mankind, and those who possess the courage, the perseverance, and the self-denial of the true miner, and of the true scholar, will find even in the darkest and dustiest shafts what they are seeking for,--real nuggets of thought, and precious jewels of faith and hope."
- Max Müller, Introduction to the Upanishads Vol. II.

"This site is a freely available archive of electronic texts about religion, mythology, legends and folklore, and occult and esoteric topics. Texts are presented in English translation and, where possible, in the original language.

This site has no particular agenda other than promoting religious tolerance and scholarship. Views expressed at this site are solely those of specific authors, and are not endorsed by sacred-texts. Sacred-texts is not sponsored by any religious group or organzation.

Sacred texts went live on March 9th, 1999. The traffic started to increase when sacred-texts was listed at Yahoo! under 'Society and Religion|Texts'. In its first year of operation sacred-texts had about a quarter million hits. By 2004, it was receiving well over a quarter million hits per day.

Today, site traffic often exceeds a million hits a day. Sacred texts is one of the top 20,000 sites on the web based on site traffic, consistently one of the top 10,000 sites in Australia, the US and India, and is one of the top 5 most visited general religion sites (source: Alexa.com).

The texts presented here are either original scans from books and articles clearly in the public domain, material which has been presented elsewhere on the Internet, or material included under fair use conditions in printed anthologies.

Many of the texts included here were originally posted in ftp archives or on bulletin boards before the growth of the World Wide Web and have been lost. In some cases, the texts were posted in such a form as to make them unusable by non-technically oriented users. Some of these texts were on the web at some point but have completely disappeared because the site they were posted on has closed. Thus the need for an archive which organizes this material in a persistent location.

From the start, we have had a special focus on remedying the under-representation of traditional cultures on the Internet. The site has one of the largest collections of transcriptions of complete books on Native American, Pacific, African, Asian and other traditional people's religion, spiritual practices, mythology and folklore. While many of these pre-20th century books are flawed due to orientalist or colonialist biases, they are also eye-witness accounts by reliable observers, typically at the moment of contact. These texts are crucial to the study of tribal traditions, and in many cases, the only link with the past. Locked up in academic libraries for decades, sacred-texts has made them freely accessible anywhere in the world.

We have scanned hundreds of books which have all been made freely accessible to the world. A comprehensive bibliography of the texts scanned at sacred texts is available here.

We welcome email regarding typographical or factual errors in any file at sacred-texts. Please write us if you spot an error; include the URL and a few lines of context so we can pin down the location.

While all due care has been taken in the reproduction of the texts here, none of the texts or translations here are represented to be sanctioned by any particular religious body or institution. We welcome advice as to errors of fact or transcription.

Some of the material here may be copyrighted. It is our hope that the copyright holders may allow these texts to be posted here in the public interest. If you are the copyright holder of record of a text which you believe has been archived at this site in error, please contact us at the email address listed at the bottom of this page. We have made a good-faith effort to determine the provenance of each text and apologize if we have posted a text in error. "How Could You? A Dog's Story"

"How Could You? A Dog's Story"
by Jim Willis

"When I was a puppy I entertained you with my antics and made you laugh. You called me your child and despite a number of chewed shoes and a couple of murdered throw pillows, I became your best friend. Whenever I was "bad," you'd shake your finger at me and ask "How could you?" - but then you'd relent and roll me over for a bellyrub.

My house training took a little longer than expected, because you were terribly busy, but we worked on that together. I remember those nights of nuzzling you in bed, listening to your confidences and secret dreams, and I believed that life could not be any more perfect. We went for long walks and runs in the park, car rides, stops for ice cream (I only got the cone because "ice cream is bad for dogs," you said), and I took long naps in the sun waiting for you to come home at the end of the day.

Gradually, you began spending more time at work and on your career, and more time searching for a human mate. I waited for you patiently, comforted you through heartbreaks and disappointments, never chided you about bad decisions, and romped with glee at your homecomings, and when you fell in love.

She, now your wife, is not a "dog person" - still I welcomed her into our home, tried to show her affection, and obeyed her. I was happy because you were happy. Then the human babies came along and I shared your excitement. I was fascinated by their pinkness, how they smelled, and I wanted to mother them, too. Only she and you worried that I might hurt them, and I spent most of my time banished to another room, or to a dog crate. Oh, how I wanted to love them, but I became a "prisoner of love."

As they began to grow, I became their friend. They clung to my fur and pulled themselves up on wobbly legs, poked fingers in my eyes, investigated my ears and gave me kisses on my nose. I loved everything about them, especially their touch - because your touch was now so infrequent - and I would have defended them with my life if need be. I would sneak into their beds and listen to their worries and secret dreams. Together we waited for the sound of your car in the driveway. There had been a time, when others asked you if you had a dog, that you produced a photo of me from your wallet and told them stories about me. These past few years, you just answered "yes" and changed the subject. I had gone from being your dog to "just a dog," and you resented every expenditure on my behalf.

Now you have a new career opportunity in another city and you and they will be moving to an apartment that does not allow pets. You've made the right decision for your "family," but there was a time when I was your only family.

I was excited about the car ride until we arrived at the animal shelter. It smelled of dogs and cats, of fear, of hopelessness. You filled out the paperwork and said "I know you will find a good home for her." They shrugged and gave you a pained look. They understand the realities facing a middle-aged dog or cat, even one with "papers."

You had to pry your son's fingers loose from my collar as he screamed "No, Daddy! Please don't let them take my dog!" And I worried for him and what lessons you had just taught him about friendship and loyalty, about love and responsibility, and about respect for all life. You gave me a goodbye pat on the head, avoided my eyes, and politely refused to take my collar and leash with you. You had a deadline to meet and now I have one, too.

After you left, the two nice ladies said you probably knew about your upcoming move months ago and made no attempt to find me another good home. They shook their heads and asked "How could you?"

They are as attentive to us here in the shelter as their busy schedules allow. They feed us, of course, but I lost my appetite days ago. At first, whenever anyone passed my pen, I rushed to the front, hoping it was you - that you had changed your mind - that this was all a bad dream... or I hoped it would at least be someone who cared, anyone who might save me. When I realized I could not compete with the frolicking for attention of happy puppies, oblivious to their own fate, I retreated to a far corner and waited.

I heard her footsteps as she came for me at the end of the day and I padded along the aisle after her to a separate room. A blissfully quiet room. She placed me on the table, rubbed my ears and told me not to worry. My heart pounded in anticipation of what was to come, but there was also a sense of relief. The prisoner of love had run out of days. As is my nature, I was more concerned about her. The burden which she bears weighs heavily on her and I know that, the same way I knew your every mood.

She gently placed a tourniquet around my foreleg as a tear ran down her cheek. I licked her hand in the same way I used to comfort you so many years ago. She expertly slid the hypodermic needle into my vein. As I felt the sting and the cool liquid coursing through my body, I lay down sleepily, looked into her kind eyes and murmured "How could you?"

Perhaps because she understood my dogspeak, she said "I'm so sorry." She hugged me and hurriedly explained it was her job to make sure I went to a better place, where I wouldn't be ignored or abused or abandoned, or have to fend for myself - a place of love and light so very different from this earthly place. With my last bit of energy, I tried to convey to her with a thump of my tail that my "How could you?" was not meant for her. It was you, My Beloved Master, I was thinking of. I will think of you and wait for you forever. May everyone in your life continue to show you so much loyalty."

"Quit your addiction
to sneer and complaint.
Try a little flaunt,
Call for comrades
who bolster your vim
and offer you risk.
Corral the crones,
Goose the nice nellies,
Hunt the bear that hugs
and the raven that quoths.
Stay up all night

"Life's Funny..."

"Life is painful and messed up. It gets complicated at the worst of times, and sometimes you have no idea where to go or what to do. Lots of times people just let themselves get lost, dropping into a wide open, huge abyss. But that's why we have to keep trying. We have to push through all that hurts us, work past all our memories that are haunting us. Sometimes the things that hurt us are the things that make us strongest. A life without experience, in my opinion, is no life at all. And that's why I tell everyone that, even when it hurts, never stop yourself from living."
- Alysha Speer

"The joke was thinking you were ever really in charge of your life. You pressed your oar down into the water to direct the canoe, but it was the current that shot you through the rapids. You just hung on and hoped not to hit a rock or a whirlpool."
- Scott Turow

"Life's funny, chucklehead. You only get one and you don't want to throw it away. But you can't really live it at all unless you're willing to give it up for the things you love. If you're not at least willing to die for something - something that really matters - in the end you die for nothing."

"What if the truth is that nobody really cares about you as much as you think they do? At first, this might sound harsh - even depressing - but in reality, it can be one of the most liberating discoveries of your life.In this video, we explore how existentialist philosopher Jean-Paul Sartre and modern psychology reveal the hidden trap of constantly worrying about the gaze of others. From the spotlight effect to Sartre’s concept of bad faith, we’ll uncover why the fear of judgment silently robs you of freedom - and how realizing the truth can unlock authenticity, courage, and deeper connection."

"America Is Reaching A Boiling Point"

"America Is Reaching A Boiling Point"
by Michael Snyder

"I am deeply saddened by what is happening to our country. America is reaching a boiling point, and it appears that we have entered a new era of civil unrest in which political violence will become the norm. At this moment in our history, we should all be denouncing political violence as loudly as we can. Unfortunately, there are many voices that are loudly calling for more political violence. I have been warning that this time would come for so many years, and now it is here. The “left” deeply hates the “right”, and the “right” deeply hates the “left”. But how is a bitterly divided nation supposed to thrive? How is it even supposed to survive? Those that founded this country shared a common set of core values, but today there are no core values that still unite us, because the core values that our founders believed in so strongly have been abandoned. In fact, in so many ways America is now the complete opposite of what our founders intended.

Decades ago, we would laugh at the pathetic nations that were constantly plagued by political violence. Now we are one of those nations. A man in New Hampshire was just arrested for threatening to use homemade pipe bombs to assassinate New Hampshire Governor Kelly Ayotte…"A ponytailed New Hampshire man has been arrested after allegedly plotting to assassinate the state’s Republican governor with a ‘weapon of mass destruction.’ Tristan Anderson, 22, is accused of threatening to kill Governor Kelly Ayotte with homemade pipe bombs. According to investigators, Anderson made the chilling threats to his roommate on Snapchat, bragging about his plans and showing off the materials he intended to use."

Hopefully authorities will lock up that nut for a long time, but the truth is that there are millions of others just like him. For example, a crazed leftist at Oberlin College has boldly proclaimed that we “need to bring back political assassinations”… A radical leftist student at Oberlin College casually called for political assassinations to continue in the wake of the targeted killing of political activist Charlie Kirk last week, according to an online post she made. “We need to bring back political assassinations,” said Julia Xu in a social media post, where her handle is @bringbacktheguillotine. “I don’t feel bad and I don’t think that everyone deserves the right to free speech. Some people should be afraid to express their opinion in public.”

That is sick. If you have not seen the footage of her making these comments yet, you can find it on YouTube. So where did she get such horrifying ideas? Well, it turns out that her thinking has been greatly influenced by Chairman Mao…"Xu is on the advisory board of campus group the Gender, Sexuality and Attraction Initiatives, an office that supports queer, trans and women’s programming at the school. Xu, who uses they/them pronouns, is also a member of Students for a Free Palestine.

Xu said she made the comments about Kirk, who was assassinated during a student debate at Utah Valley University in Orem last week, after being given five minutes for “hot takes” during her “Revolution, Socialism and Reform in China” class. She said her statement was influenced by her learnings about Chairman Mao, then went on to misguidedly (and perhaps inadvertently) praise the Chinese leader’s authoritarianism."

There are many on the left that would be thrilled if the United States was transformed into another version of communist China. And a lot of them are openly admitting that blood must be spilled to accomplish that goal. In fact, a tax collector in Pennsylvania has openly admitted that she is “so tired of being told” that violence isn’t the answer…"Ambler, PA tax collector and local Democratic Party leader calls for MORE assassinations and violence “I’m so tired of being told that violence isn’t into the answer. History is filled with blood. Let’s make some more martyrs.” SHE NEEDS TO RESIGN.

All over social media, there are people that are talking about a violent uprising. That should chill you to the core. In response, the Trump administration plans to crack down on left-wing organizations. In fact, President Trump just announced that Antifa will be officially designated as a terrorist organization…"President Trump announced Wednesday that he will designate antifa as a terrorist organization, and is recommending investigations into people who allegedly fund it. It’s unclear when the designation will take place, or what legal implications it will have. Antifa - short for anti-fascist - is a loose affiliation of mostly left-leaning activists, and generally is not considered to be a highly organized group."

I don’t think that people understand what this means. During previous administrations, terrorists have been shipped off to Guantanamo Bay to be tortured and hunted down by predator drones. In his post announcing this change on Truth Social, President Trump explained that Antifa will now be deemed to be “A MAJOR TERRORIST ORGANIZATION”…"I am pleased to inform our many U.S.A. Patriots that I am designating ANTIFA, A SICK, DANGEROUS, RADICAL LEFT DISASTER, AS A MAJOR TERRORIST ORGANIZATION. I will also be strongly recommending that those funding ANTIFA be thoroughly investigated in accordance with the highest legal standards and practices. Thank you for your attention to this matter!"

Of course Antifa does not hand out membership cards. So how will it be determined whether leftist protesters are part of Antifa or not? There are so many unanswered questions. But what we do know is that the temperature is rising in this country, and it got even hotter when Jimmy Kimmel was suddenly pulled off the air…"After ABC’s suspension of “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” over the comedian’s comments on Charlie Kirk, reactions have been swift, and many questions remain. The Walt Disney-owned network confirmed on Wednesday, Sept. 17, that it has indefinitely pulled Jimmy Kimmel’s late-night talk show following comments he made on a Sept. 15 episode regarding the fatal shooting of the conservative commentator."

I don’t understand why he was still on the air. He was supposed to be a comedian, but he simply was not funny. Maybe that is why so few people were still watching him. ABC decided to make this move because Kimmel suggested that Charlie Kirk’s shooter was part of “the MAGA gang”…“We hit some new lows over the weekend with the MAGA gang desperately trying to characterize this kid who murdered Charlie Kirk as anything other than one of them and doing everything they can to score political points from it,” he said. Jimmy Kimmel should have known better than to say something like that, because everyone knows that it isn’t true. So his employer held him accountable.

But all over BlueSky, liberals are freaking out as if some major turning point in our history has just happened. Here is one example…"First, Stephen Colbert. Now Jimmy Kimmel. Is it sinking in now? Do you all get it now? We now live in an authoritarian dictatorship. The United States of America as we know it is OVER for everyone. There are a lot of things that are going on in this country that are worth getting tremendously upset about. The cancellation of Jimmy Kimmel is not one of them."

But Rosie O’Donnell believes that this nation “is no more” now that Jimmy Kimmel is off the air…"O’Donnell lamented on Instagram: “this is unacceptable – f— this fascist administration and corrupt corporate executives – bowing to the orange monster – America is no more.” She is not rational. Unfortunately, we have reached a point where vast segments of the U.S. population are not rational. And when people are not thinking rationally, violence can erupt.

When asked about what just happened to Jimmy Kimmel, actor Jason Bateman had some very ominous things to say…‘Well, it’s troubling to say the least,’ the A-list star said. ‘And we all have to really take a moment and figure how we feel about this type of thing. Especially, people doing what you do. I’m sure there’s going to be some sort of collective move to respond to this, but I’m not smart enough or powerful enough to be the one to do it but I imagine there’s plenty of conversations going on to do something, because you just can’t stand by and let stuff like that go on.’

Exactly what did he mean when he said that “you just can’t stand by and let stuff like that go on”? If he suggesting what it sounds like he is suggesting? Everyone needs to take a step back and cool down for a while. But of course that isn’t going to happen, is it? 2025 is the moment when our national boiling point is being reached, and things are only going to get crazier from here."

"The Real Reason Gen Z Will
Never Own Anything And Pay Forever"
"Gen Z has been sold the lie of “freedom” through technology and convenience, but the reality is much darker. Rising housing costs, endless subscription models, student debt, car insurance hikes, and the “buy now, pay later” trap are creating the first generation that may never truly own anything. Instead, they’re paying forever - locked into a cycle of rent, debt, and inflation that keeps real wealth out of reach. This isn’t just about Gen Z - it’s a warning for all of us. Millennials are struggling too, and the cost of living crisis is only getting worse. From skyrocketing rent, to healthcare, to utilities, to food prices - every dollar is being drained. The truth is, we’re watching the rise of a system where ownership is replaced with perpetual payment. And if nothing changes, this is the future for America. In this video, we break down the real reason Gen Z will never own anything - and what it means for the rest of us."

"The solar system has recently welcomed a strange newcomer - an object so massive that it surpasses anything we've tracked in years. Astronomers are shocked because this gigantic monster, which is nearly 100 times larger than previously recorded interstellar visitors, looks to be traveling directly for 3I/ATLAS. Could this be a cosmic encounter unlike any we've seen before?

In this video, we discuss what scientists currently know about this bizarre interplanetary interloper. This finding has specialists on edge because of its potential origin outside our solar system, as well as its amazing speed and size. We'll look at why its track toward 3I/ATLAS is causing concerns, as well as what this could entail for Earth and the rest of our celestial neighbors. Join us as we investigate the shocking details surrounding this massive object's arrival, ideas about its purpose, and the ramifications of its close encounter with 3I/ATLAS. “These three bright nebulae are often featured in telescopic tours of the constellation Sagittarius and the crowded starfields of the central Milky Way. In fact, 18th century cosmic tourist Charles Messier cataloged two of them; M8, the large nebula left of center, and colorful M20 on the right. The third, NGC 6559, is above M8, separated from the larger nebula by a dark dust lane. All three are stellar nurseries about five thousand light-years or so distant.
The expansive M8, over a hundred light-years across, is also known as the Lagoon Nebula. M20's popular moniker is the Trifid. Glowing hydrogen gas creates the dominant red color of the emission nebulae, with contrasting blue hues, most striking in the Trifid, due to dust reflected starlight. The colorful skyscape recorded with telescope and digital camera also includes one of Messier's open star clusters, M21, just above the Trifid.”

Buenos Aires, Argentina - "Many and varied are the fissures, fractures and fault lines that divide mankind. Capitalism vs. communism... analytic vs. continental philosophy... Marilyn vs. Jackie... Some dichotomies, like individual rights vs. collective obligations... or Hume’s radical skepticism versus Kant’s transcendental idealism... are clear enough to differentiate such that they may be debated heartily and openly by all and sundry. Others, like a gentleman’s preference for blondes or brunettes... are fraught with peril, and thus best left to unmarried men to argue over. Moving on, then...

War in Pieces: When we left you last, we were distracting ourselves with yet another historic matchup: war vs. peace. Is the world careening toward the former, as it appears... or ready to embrace the latter? As the writer of Ecclesiastes reminds us, there is a time for all things, for all seasons, under heaven... including, but not limited to...

“...a time to tear and a time to mend,
a time to be silent and a time to speak,
a time to love and a time to hate,
a time for war and a time for peace.”

So where are we in this grand, cosmic cycle? Here, the Commander-in-Chief of history’s most powerful military gives us a not-so-subtle hint. From Fox News..."Trump signs order renaming Pentagon back to ‘Department of War’

Trump said the name is 'a much more appropriate name, especially in light of where the world is right now.' Like everything The Donald does, his 200th Executive Order was met with chest beating and teary salutes from one TDS team (those given to Trump Devotion Syndrome)... and howls of protest from the other TDS faction (those soft and empty craniums in which the president lives “rent free”).

For our part, we approve of the new name... which is really a return to the old, pre-1947 name. Even if we’re not for costly foreign entanglements and mass killing to the “sound of trumpets,” as Voltaire described the scourge of war, we are in favor of calling a thing by its proper name. And whatever dubious traits the Department of Defense might claim for itself, truth in advertising was surely not among them. But let us return to the battlefields, so to speak. The latest, from the frontlines...

From AFP: "Israel army says it will use 'unprecedented force' in Gaza City." Gaza City (Palestinian Territories) – The Israeli military warned on Friday it would operate with "unprecedented force" in Gaza City, telling residents to flee southwards as it presses its ground offensive on the territory's largest urban centre. Israel has pummelled Gaza City with strikes and tank fire in its bid to seize it, nearly two years into the war that has devastated the Palestinian territory and left the Gaza City area gripped by a UN-declared famine.

Interesting timing, too. According to the newswire, “The assault comes ahead of a planned move by several Western countries, including France and Britain, to recognise a Palestinian state next week at a UN summit.” And now comes news of a “large wave of airstrikes” into southern Lebanon over the past 24 hours. Israel says it is targeting Hezbollah. Lebanon claims otherwise. And the battlefield enlarges...

War Games and Military Drills: So too does the theater of war expand in Europe, with western newswires aflutter with reports of Russian drone incursions in Poland and Romania during the past week. Russia denies the claims, with Moscow’s ambassador to the UK pointing to “many false flag operations from Kyiv authorities during these years.”

Whether true or not, the war drums beat louder by the day. From (Polish broadcaster) TVP World..."Poland and NATO deploy 30,000 troops in military drills after Russia-Belarus war games. The Polish armed forces are staging their largest military drills of the year, bringing together around 30,000 troops from Poland and NATO alongside more than 600 tanks, aircraft and missile systems. Codenamed “Iron Gate,” the exercises are taking place at a training ground in Orzysz, just 100 kilometers from the strategic Suwałki Gap - a narrow corridor connecting northeastern Poland and Lithuania, sandwiched between Belarus and Russia’s Kaliningrad exclave.

This area has long been described as NATO’s “Achilles’ heel” - but the drills, part of the alliance’s wider “Iron Defender” maneuvers, are meant to display unity against the backdrop of heightened tensions with Russia. NATO’s “Iron Gage” military flex comes as Germany leads a 14-nation firepower display, Quadriga 2025, in the Baltics. The exercise, which involves air, land, and naval units - including warships, aircraft, armored vehicles, and logistics operations - marshals another 8,000 troops along Russia’s border.

Then there’s Operation Eastern Sentry, ostensibly designed to “bolster NATO’s eastern flank defenses” in response to the alleged violations of Polish airspace, which involves the mobilization of assets from multiple NATO members... including fighter jets from Denmark (F-16s), France (Rafales), Germany (Eurofighters) and likely others, including from the UK (where Trump just wrapped a press tour)...

But don’t you worry, dear reader. There’s nothing to see here. Naturally, “our” war buildup – also known as “exercises” and “military drills” – are brave... defensive... and all for the good. “Their” buildup – also known as “war games” – are menacing... offensive... fashioned from pure evil.

Friend From Foe: Of course, in the fog of war, it’s difficult to tell friend from foe, the enemy at the gates from the enemy within them. Propaganda, as is well known, finds fertile soil in shallow minds. That goes for both sides. Certainly, it doesn’t take a Tolstoyan imagination to conjure the pathos-rich headlines landing on the working Russian’s doorstep every morning...

“Foreign military alliance conducts war games along Russian border.”
“NATO gathers forces, assembles fighter jets, as peace talks collapse.”
“The Germans are coming!”

At the risk of seeing things from a different perspective, a dangerous undertaking in this, the Age of Certainty, one dares ask the obvious question: what might Washington’s response be if, say, a Chinese-led military alliance amassed 30,000 troops – along with “more than 600 tanks, aircraft and missile systems” – along the Canadian border? Would such a move put the Commander-in-Chief in the mood for good faith peace negotiations? Or might it be seen as crossing the brightest of bright red lines?

One recalls Mr. Kennedy being none-too-pleased when Mr. Khrushchev was caught installing medium- and intermediate-range nuclear missiles in America’s own backyard, in Cuba, back in 1962. Indeed, the human race waited in tenterhooks as U.S. forces worldwide were raised to DEFCON 2, the highest level ever in U.S. history short of nuclear war.

Several near misses and miscommunications during the crisis – including a US spy plane being shot down over Cuba (the pilot was killed)... and another veering into Russian airspace... on the very same day – could easily have triggered the “mutually assured destruction” the world so feared. In the end, it is something of a miracle that man – aided in no small part by his own dumb luck – has managed to avoid nuclear annihilation for this long.

Yes, dear reader, the story of our errant species is not without its moments of hubris and folly. No doubt both sides thought themselves on the “right side of history” along the way... but like so many things, history is only good while it lasts. Truth, as they say, is often the first casualty of war. But it’s not just the one-sided coverage of foreign conflicts that has hampered America’s once proud Fourth Estate.

From the fake-news-a-thon during the general elections… to the Covid hysteria… to ongoing cultural wars… to slanted and partisan coverage of every aspect of daily life, even down to the weather itself… people are growing tired of being fed “the narrative.” Indeed, the latest polls from Gallup show American’s Trust in Media at a well-deserved, five decade low."

"Can't You See..."

"Can't you see that the courage to risk, to dare, to toss that gold coin up in the air over and over again, win or lose, is what makes humans human? They are fragile, doomed creatures, blinder than worms yet braver than the gods."

"A Spy Probe From 3I/ATLAS Has
Been Shadowing Earth for 60 Years!"

"Astronomers have just revealed a chilling discovery - 2025 PN7, a mysterious object that has been hiding in Earth’s orbit for more than sixty years. It’s not a satellite, not a comet, not even a known asteroid. Early scans suggest unknown alloys, impossible stealth properties, and subtle course changes - the kind of behavior no natural object should ever display. Some scientists believe it could be an alien probe, cloaked and watching us since the dawn of the space age. Others say it’s just a fragment of rock, faint and hard to see. But with NASA unable to explain it, China already planning a mission to intercept it, and whispers of government cover-ups growing louder, the question remains: what has been shadowing Earth for six decades - and why now is it finally being seen? In this video, we break down the discovery, the strange evidence, and what it could mean for the future of humanity."

"Glowing Nuclear Core Found in Interstellar
Visitor 3I/ATLAS, And Experts are Shocked"
"In July 2025, astronomers spotted something racing through our solar system at impossible speeds. At first, it looked like another comet from deep space, rare, but not unprecedented. Yet as telescopes locked on, the details didn’t fit. Its light didn’t behave like a comet, its path seemed too precise, and the glow that surrounded it defied every natural explanation. For weeks, experts argued, data poured in, a glowing nuclear core found in interstellar visitor 3I/ATLAS, and experts were shocked. This is the story of an object that may rewrite everything we know about the universe."
